Created 300 ft buffer around larger rivers (rio grande and rio puerco)2. Created 300 ft buffer around perennial NHD waterlines3. Created 100 buffer around intermittant/ephemeral NHD lines with names, ditches, drains, acequias, arroyos (removed abandoned MRGCD facilities)4. All buffers merged together5. NLCD reclassifed to pull out natural land cover types 6. Natural lands raster clipped by buffersRaster Priority Value Key:0 = Not a Priority1 = Very Low Priority2 = Low Priority3 = Moderate Priority4 = High Priority5 = Very High PriorityAll areas with score of 3 or higher are considered places to consider land conservation action to preserve that resource.
